We just got back from beautiful NOLA! The highlight of the trip was a visit to Dr. Ike’s home. The good Doctor puts on the infamous Ponderosa Stomp Festival. He played some extremely rare 78’s for us (on a Rega P-78). It was great hearing one of only five known copies of a record. There is some serious history in those dusty grooves! I have now acquired a 78 fetish…
