Noooooo!!!! What will the Partridge Family do now?
Dave Madden, who played long-suffering band manager Reuben Kincaid on the ’70s sitcom ‘The Partridge Family,’ has died from congestive heart and kidney failure. He was 82. I’m bummed. That was my all time favorite show as a kid (until The Six Million Dollar Man came out). He was the only one who could keep Danny in line!
who popped in?
Matador’s Gerard Cosloy and Kristin Anderson, GM of Forced Exposure, dropped by to dig in the wax today!

Austin music history concert with Alejandro Escovedo!
The United Sounds of Austin is a musical journey that celebrates the rich history of Austin’s storied music scene.
Alejandro Escovedo curates and narrates a guided tour of the city’s artistic evolution through music along with special guests Lucinda Williams, Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, Terry Allen, Rosie Flores, The Hickoids and Roky Erickson.
Using photographs, songs and stories, Escovedo and friends take audiences on a journey chronicling everything that made Austin so distinctly Austin including the culture-fusing sounds of conjunto, the unmistakable tone of Janis Joplin, Dolores and the Bluebonnet Boys’ quaint country classic “The Austin Waltz,” and the venues that cultivated the talent that make up this rich musical city. No facet of the city’s kaleidoscopic music culture is left unexamined or unappreciated.
At its heart, The United Sounds of Austin is a testament to the cultural influence, harmony and beauty of this great city.
