Jim Eno has my undivided attention. As a drummer I’m blown away by his skills as drummer of Spoon. On top of that, he runs one of the best recording studios in Austin. Jim is putting out excellent recordings using old school analog 2″ tape machines, top notch mics and compressors. Not to mention the vinyl is mastered directly to acetate. It doesn’t get any more purist. The first release on the new series called “Public Hi-Fi Sessions” is with Norwegian songsmith Sondre Lerche. It’s a three piece with Josh Zarbo on bass and Jim Eno on drums. Recorded live. A limited edition 45 RPM 12″ EP pressed with nice artwork is only $12. I have a few. Hurry!
