LOUD TV, BOSE, B & O
Home Theater
I can certainly sell you one, but YOU MAY NOT NEED IT! Roughly 15 years ago the electronics industry had a great sales idea! Sell more boxes of cheap gear that people think they need. Here’s what you get with a typical Home Theater. Bullets whizzing past your head and a T-Rex Booming through a sub. Oh, and ear bleeding explosions! The reality is this. Unless those are the kind of films you watch, it’s a waste of money. With a good MUSIC BASED Stereo system, you don’t have to buy an army of speakers, processor, subwoofer, etc. Also, your significant other won’t be mortified that the living room has turned into a Theater Megaplex. For the price of a cheap receiver and 6+ bad sounding speakers, you could get a really nice two channel system. Do you really think a plastic 4 inch speaker sounds good? Come by and let me show you how simple is better. Still not convinced? You can sensibly build a decent system in steps. Start with a two-channel system, add a sub for action flicks. Still want explosions behind you? Add a processor, amps and rear speakers. Take it slow and do it right. Better yet, have a date at the Alamo Drafthouse

BOSE
Just Don’t. Seriously. My first pair of speakers were Bose 301’s. They were horrible but I didn’t know any better until I heard decent speakers. Check out this informative site and see why Bose Suck
BANG & OLUFSEN
Those “in the know”, don’t buy B & O!
Who wouldn’t want one? Nice Danish design! Looks sexy! It’s in every other Hollywood movie. B & O is WAY OVERPRICED for what it is. Do you want music in your life or conspicuous consumption? It’s a rich man’s Bose and a even bigger rip off. You’re buying looks, not sound quality. Want Danish design with some umph and flexability? Check out Primare…
We’ve been brainwashed through years of advertising and clever product placement. I can offer you so much more. Go and demo these brands and then come by my shop. You will hear a difference.
If you’ve bought these products, I’m not trying to be a “audio snob” and make you feel bad. I did it once too. If I can save someone from making the same mistake, great! If I were about to plunk down several thousand dollars on something inferior, I would be thankful if someone “In the know” told me so… Even if you don’t buy my products, I hope you don’t buy these.
Relentless marketing should be added HERE
